5 INT. HOME - DAY

War memorabilia and American flags fill the living room of a small house. An agitated ARMY VET speaks to a 911 operator on his cell phone.

ARMY VET:
I have fought for this God forsaken country damn near all my life and this is how I'm treated? This is the thanks I get?... I'm not gonna calm down. I still got a rifle and I still know how to use it. I gave my life to keep Americans safe and free, well that's about to change. I'm gonna stick my weapon out the window and take a pot shot at everyone who walks by. Wish it was Donald Trump but I have no such luck... What do you mean what do I want?! I want what I deserve! And somebody better give it to me! Now!!!!!

6 INT. MILLER HOME - DAY

Steven Miller follows his wife Linda into the house, letting the door shut behind him.

AGENT STEVEN MILLER:
Babe, I'm sorry you feel that way.You know I love you. How long have we been together?

AGENT LINDA MILLER:
Eight years, Steven.

AGENT STEVEN MILLER:
And I'm planning on eight hundred more years. I'm not cheating on you. It's all in your mind - I told you, I'm working undercover. Even you can't know about it. It's a dirty job. Trust me, honey - it's just me and you.

Miller kisses Linda on the forehead.

AGENT MILLER (CONT'D):
For eight hundred years, baby.

MILLER'S CELLPHONE RINGS. HE PUTS IT ON SPEAKER

COMMANDER PADDOCK (O.S.):
We have a situation.

7 EXT. YARD - DAY
At a backyard party, Detective Perez pops the top off a beer, shooting the shit with his buddy.

PEREZ:
This is the best definition of beer.

BUDDY:
It sure is. Hopefully, you'll be able to stay and enjoy it this time.

The buddy turns up the volume. Perez's phone beeps. He looks at it, and hands the beer to his buddy. The men laugh.

PEREZ:
See, that's why I call your ass Jinx.

BUDDY:
Be careful out there, man..

PEREZ:
Enjoy the beer.

8 EXT. TARGET SHOOTING - DAY

Officer Z lines up a shot at a target. His phone beeps. He relaxes his stance, lowers the gun, and checks his phones.

9 EXT. GAME - DAY
Officers Philly and Dalton enjoy the Twins game. Both their phones beep, and they check them.

PHILLY:
Duty calls.

DALTON:
Darn it. I wish the world was a better place.

PHILLY:
One day at a time, pal.

10. INT. BOWLING ALLEY - DAY

Officers Holm, Mendez, and Hayes are bowling when their phones all began to alert them. Hayes has just bowled a strike. 

HAYES:
(celebrating)
Yeah! I can do it just like that all night long.

HOLM:
Play time is over, ladies.

Mendez silently gets to her feet.

11 EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - DAY

Officer Stanton jogs down a quiet neighborhood street. Suddenly, his phone buzzes.

12 INT. MCCARTHY'S HOUSE KITCHEN - DAY

Lieutenent McCarthy sets the dinner table for her husband and daughter when she gets the alert. She sets a dish down in front of her husband.

HUSBAND:
Careful out there, Wonder Woman.

MCCARTHY GRIPS HIS HAND

MCCARTHY:
My team will protect me, honey.

McCarthy kisses her daughter on the forehead.

MCCARTHY (CONT'D):
You be sure to eat your vegetables, dear.

DAUGHTER:
I will mommy.

MCCARTHY dials her commander as she prepares to leave the house, grabbing her keys..

MCCARTHY:
Paddock, what we got?

PADDOCK (O.S.)
We got a guy who says if he sees any police cars out front he'll take his own life.

13 EXT. MCCARTHY'S HOUSE - NIGHT
McCarthy exits the house, climbs into her car, and fires it up, still using her cell to talk to the Commander.

MCCARTHY:
So it's just us?

PADDOCK (O.S.):
Just us, kiiddo. I'll brief you at the station.

MCCARTHY:
We got this.

McCarthy's car peels off down the street.

14 INT. CHURCH - NIGHT
Detective Barnes gets the alert in church. She excuses herself from the others in her pew so she could rush towards the exit.

15 INT. HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT
